The result is calculated using your answers and the calculator’s rules. It does not establish the price a company will charge.
The calculator combines your answers with reference rates to produce an indicative estimate. Check the breakdown to see which items it covers and what information is missing. The result is not an offer from a company or a promise of the final cost of the work.
The minimum and maximum are a calculated range, not a comparison of received quotes or a commitment that a company will work for that amount. All three calculators show amounts excluding VAT and other taxes; confirm the final price with the company.
What to do if an answer was approximate
Go back to the relevant step and correct any information you have been able to verify. For a move, the inventory or access may change; for painting, the area; for cleaning, the included zones and tasks. The new result remains indicative; correcting the data does not turn it into a validated market price.
Suppose you entered 35 m² of walls to paint and then decide to include a 12 m² ceiling. First check whether the field asks for walls, ceilings or total area. Do not add the 12 m² to a field describing something else. This measurement example does not calculate the price of the work.
What the professional quote must resolve
- The actual scope: surfaces, objects or tasks and their exclusions.
- The condition and access that the company has been able to assess.
- The final price, taxes and payment terms.
- The date and availability confirmed by both parties.
If the proposal differs from the calculator, ask for its items to be explained. The lower amount does not by itself identify an equivalent proposal. Keep the measurements or inventory you sent to check that both figures refer to the same work.
