Adapt the template to your house layout
The initial setup starts with three bedrooms; you can add or remove spaces and review quantities. If a floor has a second living room or a work area, create a recognisable space for those items. The template does not know your home's contents: confirm every piece of furniture and the boxes actually being moved.
Check storage areas too
Check occasional furniture, spaces under the stairs and rooms used for storage. Include only items going to the destination. If you are also moving contents from the garage, garden or storage room, add these spaces or use the detached house template to start with these areas separated.
Describe where each large item is located
In a multi-storey house, identify the original room of furniture requiring attention. Keep its reviewed measurements and tell the company about internal and external access. You can add photos and notes when saving the inventory in your account to explain details not covered by the item list.
Complete the valuation with access details
The inventory lets you estimate item volume. When continuing to residential pricing, complete the route, floors, lifts and services needed. Check that answers describe both points. The estimate is indicative; the company must review the house conditions and agree the service price.
