Calculating does not send a request. A lack of available companies does not by itself prevent submission. Assignment requires a verified email, review and enabled coverage.
Getting an estimate and requesting quotes are separate steps. You can calculate without registering. If you decide to proceed with a request, first check that your answers describe the work you need and follow the quote request form. Do not interpret the calculation result as confirmation that companies are available.
After submitting the request
A lack of available companies does not by itself prevent you from submitting a request. Received requests remain pending review. Before assignment, we need you to verify your email, review the request and have approved companies able to receive it with coverage enabled for the service and area. A visible directory profile does not show that the company can receive your request through this channel.
Companies assigned the request can submit proposals, but responses are not guaranteed. Submitting the form also does not guarantee a response time, a work date or a specific price. Check the status and proposals in your customer account when they become available.
You choose when to start a conversation
The customer starts the conversation with a company. Your email is not shared with companies in this process. When you want to ask something, use the proposal and scope as a reference: “Does it include the bedroom ceiling?” or “Is preparation of that wall covered?” are specific questions that help clarify the work.
You do not need to accept a proposal to ask for an explanation. Before deciding, confirm the scope, final price, taxes, dates and terms with the company. If you change an area or task after submitting the request, explain the change so the proposal can be reviewed.
The direct contact listed in the directory works through a separate channel and may have its own terms. Keep this distinction in mind when interpreting a response: neither the estimate nor the existence of a profile confirms availability for your project.
